Finding Your Link

Open your Ambassador Dashboard
Log in to It's Buzzing and navigate to /ambassador/dashboard (or click Ambassador in the sidebar).

Find your referral URL
At the top of your dashboard, your unique referral URL is displayed. It looks like itsbuzzing.com/pass-the-buzz?ref=YOUR_CODE.

Copy and share
Click the copy button next to your link, or manually copy it. You can share it anywhere — text, email, social media, group chats, your bio.
Commission Schedule
Earn these commissions when a business signs up through your referral link: $25 for a Solo plan signup. $50 for Team plan. $100 for Network+ or Team premium. All commissions are held for 35 days to ensure the business completes onboarding and payment is secure. After 35 days, paid commissions transfer to your Stripe Connect account within 1–2 business days.

Send this link to anyone you think would be great at referring businesses. When they sign up as ambassadors using your recruiter link, they become your recruited ambassador.

Every time one of your recruited ambassadors makes their FIRST referral sale, you earn $5 automatically. This comes from the platform's cut, not from them — their full commission is untouched.

Set up Stripe Connect
Go to itsbuzzing.com/ambassador/connect. Follow the Stripe onboarding flow — it takes about 3 minutes. You'll verify your identity, business info, and bank account.

Wait for the 35-day hold
Your commission is locked for 35 days to protect both you and the referred business. This clock starts when the business completes signup and payment.

Get paid automatically
After 35 days, your commission is released to your connected bank account. Stripe handles the transfer — typically within 1–2 business days. Minimum balance to request a payout is $25.

Referrals don't expire — the 30-day attribution cookie means if a business visits within 30 days of clicking your link, your commission is earned. Yes, you can share on social media, in newsletters, on your personal website, anywhere. The 35-day clock starts when the business completes signup and makes their first payment, not when they click your link. You can see all your referrals, their status (pending, locked, paid, failed), and commission amounts in your dashboard.

How long until my referral counts?
A referral counts as soon as the business completes payment. The business then has 35 days of chargeback protection. After 35 days, your commission is considered final and moves to payout status.
What if a referred business cancels their subscription?
If they cancel within the 35-day hold period, your commission is forfeited and the business gets a refund. If they cancel after 35 days, your commission is paid as scheduled since it's already locked in.
Can I share my link on my website or LinkedIn?
Absolutely. Share your Pass the Buzz link anywhere — your website, LinkedIn, email signature, Instagram Stories, TikTok, community Slack channels, anywhere your network will see it.
Do I earn anything if the business doesn't complete payment?
No. A referral only counts if the business completes signup AND makes their first payment. Incomplete signups or failed payments don't generate a commission.
How much can I earn per month?
There's no monthly cap. Earn $25–$100 per referral depending on the plan they choose. If you build a strong referral flow, your monthly earnings can grow significantly. Top ambassadors earn $2K–$5K+ monthly.
What if someone clicks my link but signs up later with a different email?
Can I track my referrals in real time?
Yes. Your Ambassador Dashboard shows every referral with its status: Pending (not yet paid), Locked (in 35-day hold), Paid (transferred), or Failed (chargeback or cancellation). Click any referral to see details like business name, signup date, and expected payout date.
